Jonathan Paul, MD

Dr. Paul is a board certified Orthopedic Surgeon specializing in arthroscopic surgery and sports medicine. After his orthopedic training, Dr. Paul completed a sports medicine fellowship at the Cleveland Clinic where he served as Team Physician for the 1997 NBA All-Star game and was part of the medical team for the Cleveland Cavaliers, Baltimore Ravens and Cleveland State University.  After his fellowship, Dr. Paul established his practice in Charlotte, NC, focusing on shoulder and knee injuries.  As he has become established in the Charlotte region, Dr. Paul has gained a reputation for expertise, becoming the first doctor to appear on the local sports talk show Fox Got Game as well being consulted on various sports medicine articles in the Charlotte Observer.  In Charlotte, he served as Team Physician for the Charlotte Checkers Hockey Team and the Carolina Speed Professional Indoor Football Team. Himself an avid athlete, Dr. Paul played college soccer at Syracuse University and continues to push the limits of an aging athlete as a “weekend warrior.”

Elysa Graham, DNP, FNP-C

Dr. Elysa Graham, is a doctoral prepared, board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C). She is known for her optimistic attitude and energetic personality. She is a graduate of Troy University in Troy, Alabama where she completed her education up to the doctoral level in their nursing program. The early part of her nursing career was spent in the Uned States Army on active duty for 14 years where she served primarily as a registered nurse and then nurse practitioner. Her experience includes medical-surgical nursing, nurse case management, nurse manager, family practice nurse practitioner, primary care, rural medicine, home health, employee health & wellness, long-term care, and urgent care. She has completed a family practice residency and her research and practice interests include health literacy, chronic disease prevention, eldercare, and healthcare innovation. She has published numerous nursing articles focusing on diabetes to geriatric empathy.
